Nik Wallenda makes another world record!

Remember when we did our program about balance? And remember how we talked about Nik Wallenda’s walk across Niagara Falls?  Well, our friend Mr. Wallenda made history again this past weekend when he became the first to do a tightrope walk across the Little Colorado River Gorge near the Grand Canyon, with no safety net or tether to prevent a fall! Apparently he had to kneel down to rub the bottoms of his shoes a few times because the cable had picked up too much dust and his grip was slipping, but he made it across with no major hiccups.

His next dream is to walk between the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building in New York City…maybe we’ll see him breaking records again soon 🙂
